Branded Stickers

Personalized stickers bridging the aesthetic for my art page @canvasflame and my main page @rarediamondzz. I focus on including a variety of colors in my artwork as well as the self-shot photographs on my personal page. I am drawn to butterflies and organic shapes. While exploring ways of warping text, I developed my favorite sticker, which is the happy face showing thanks!

Initial Sketch

My creative process tends to involve rough sketch(es) of what I envision to create. I create my sketches on the Procreate app on iPad Pro using the Apple Pencil. For this project I came up with a list of things that I like (see right side). Then I proceeded to sketch up some forms and added reference notes. Lastly I developed a color palette, in general I love bright colors. I chose a diverse group of colors that I believe work harmoniously together to provoke fun/happiness. My sketches weren’t extremely detailed, I spent most of the time making the necessary adjustments in Illustrator. As long as I have a solid direction with the sketch I can confidently move onto the next program, Adobe Illustrator. This is hands down my favorite Adobe Program. I transfer the sketch into Illustrator and start digitally drawing each sticker using the pen tool mostly. Adjusting the color palette is my final step. I had fun with this project and created gifs of the stickers as well.
